Meghan Murphy-Goode is a professional clinical counselor and a marriage and family therapist in the state of California. She additionally holds a mental health counseling license in the state of Florida.  Currently, all sessions will be held in an online-telehealth format until further notice. 

 

Meghan strives to support her clients by providing an empathetic and client-centered approach.  She uses solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral techniques.  Meghan is Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) trained and has completed Gottman Level One training for couple’s therapy. 

 

​Meghan is a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist and volunteers her counseling services to the Trauma Recovery EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Program, the Give an Hour Foundation, and is on the Speakers Bureau for RAINN (Rape Abuse Incest National Network).

​She has had the pleasure of helping couples, families, and individuals with their counseling and mediation needs for the past fifteen years.

The cost for a private pay 50-minute session ranges from $100 to $125 and the cost for a 90-minute EMDR session the cost is $150.  Goode Counseling and Therapy Services accepts all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA payment methods. Aetna, United Healthcare/Optum Insurance is accepted. A receipt or superbill can be generated for other insurance reimbursement.
